I've switched to LJ, cuz it's like x10000 times cooler! :D click here to visit me!(: I'll be keeping this blog though, in case I get tired of LJ and decide to switch back. yeah, I'm just that fickle :D
Netball water games day was super, duper fun to the max! <3 Okay shit I'm super lag. It was like a week ago! But it was really fun. The games comm people did an awesome job! Okay mainly Bekah and Vicky, who made up the comm LOL. Anyway my plan at first was to not get too wet. At least keep my hair dry 'cuz I hate having to let it down to dry. Okay, big big failure, Min chih splashed shitloads of water on me. Then Jinghan used the hose and sprayed me and I was like wet from top to toe. It was quite annoying at first, but after awhile it became reallyyy fun haha (: Can't wait for the next 'games day' ! :D Oh and there was this game where we had to hold on to each other really really tightly. Then a few people would try by all means to separate us. Whichever team stays together for the longest wins. Haha I can hold on tight okay! But i give in to tickles. If you tickle me I'll seriously go crazy. Oh and Akoo was like saying " Till death do us apart." The most profound statement that she ever said. LOL. Next major thing was SRC netball carn. Singapore Reacreational Club Sunburn Really Crazily more like ._. Our team (mainly sec 1s + me, dawne, minch, cara, akoo) 's called the Raffles Climalite. WHICH IS, pronounced as Raffles Klai-mer-light. I don't get what's so hard to pronounce that word. EVERYTIME the host announces the next match, she'll be like "XXX team against Raffles -pause- Cli -pause- malite". Which gradually turned into "cli - looks around questioningly- malite" and finally, "cleemerlite." -.- Everytime before a match, we had team talks. Which usually begins like this : Dawne: Can everyone sit in a circle! -a few people move- Dawne: CAN EVERYONE SIT IN A CIRCLE!?!?!?! -sits in circle- Dawne: okay do y'all want me to tell you a story about last year's SRC? everyone: NOOO. Because dawne already told us 192038120938 stories about what happened during last year's SRC and how ke3xi1 it was, LOL. Anyway we made it quite far this year round! :D 2nd! hoho. And then we took a few team photos, then dismissed. It was fun but really, really tiring!
argh holidays are either freaking tiring/stressful/annoying or boring. Where's the freaking fun. Looking forward to SRC on saturday though. OH AND TOMORROW. Tll. lol
For dropping my phone into the toilet bowl, I declare myself the smartest kid on earth. My only consolation now is that I hadn't peed on it.
I've come to realise that you should never whole heartedly trust a friend that much. Like if people gossip about them, you'll defend them, only to find that they've been backstabbing you all the while. It hurts more than anything to find out that they've lied to you, when you know all you've given them is truth and nothing but the truth. Because you trust that you can trust them. Wishful thinking, much?.Okay I shall not dwindle on that pathetic subject. ANYWAY, training today was pretty fun. St hildas came today for dsa trials! :D THERE'S THIS GIRL, SHE'S FREAKING CUTE!!! I think her name is Praise hahaa :/ OKay i'm not lesbian damn. Anyway I played Center for the first time ever in my netball life (which is really short still). It was pathetic man. The first few minutes i managed to survive, but after a while my stamina went down down down down all the way down. ): Damn hahaha. After that, Joy Cara ElaineL Rich Jas and I went Far East for lunch! :D We went Grafiti Cafe. Charlene introduced me to it. But it was so oily that i felt guilty for eating so much. I JUST EXERCISED IN THE MORNING and i stuffed all the fats back into my body. Rawr. Okay pointless ranting, i shall stop now. (: I'll be there for you, these five words I promise you.
My life is damn sad. I woke up and watched Dora the Explorer for an hour ._.
Sharing with you a song with really nice lyrics. (:
Prettiest Friend this is what i look like today and i'm trying not to pull out my hair i'm trying not to show it cause i'm far too shy to grow it back there that's probably why i like wearing hats there's no denying i'm deferring the facts avoiding confrontation lacks tact in a situation behind every line is a lesson yet to learn
but if you ask me the feeling that i'm feeling is overwhelming and oh it goes to show i've so much to know
i wrote this for my prettiest friend who while trying not to prove that i care trying not to make all my moves in one motion and scare her away well she can't see she's making me crazy now i don't believe she knows she's amazing how she has me holding my breathe so i'd never guess that i'm a none such unsuitable, suitable for her
but if you ask me the feeling that i'm feeling is complimentery and oh it goes to show the moral of the story is boy loves girl and so on the way that it unfolds is yet to be told
i know that i should be brave even pretty can be seen by the blind i know that i cannot wait until the day we finally learn how to find each other redefining open minds
and if you ask me the feeling that i'm feeling is overjoyed and it's golden, it goes to show then the ending of this song should be left alone and so on cause the way it unfolds is yet to be told
Maybe I did go a little overboard, but tell me now, is this the way you trust a friend? You knew it meant that much to me,
didn't you.
found this on someone's blog. freaking retarded! Abraham Lincoln was elected to Congress in 1846. John F. Kennedy was elected to Congress in 1946. Abraham Lincoln was elected President in 1860. John F. Kennedy was elected President in 1960. The names Lincoln and Kennedy each contain seven letters.
Both were particularly concerned with civil rights. Both wives lost their children while living in the White House. Both Presidents were shot on a Friday. Both were shot in the head. Now this is interesting… Lincoln’s secretary was named Kennedy. Kennedy’s secretary was named Lincoln. Both were assassinated by Southerners. Both were succeeded by Southerners. Both successors were named Johnson. Andrew Johnson, who succeeded Lincoln, was born in 1808. Lyndon Johnson, who succeeded Kennedy, was born in 1908. John Wilkes Booth, who assassinated Lincoln was born in 1839. Lee Harvey Oswald, who assassinated Kennedy was born in 1939. Both assassins were known by their three names. Both names comprise fifteen letters. Booth ran from a theater and was caught in a warehouse. Oswald ran from a warehouse and was caught in a theater. Booth and Oswald were assassinated before their trials. And here’s the kicker, A week before Lincoln was shot he was in Monroe, Maryland. A week before Kennedy was shot he was with Marilyn Monroe.
Which idiot went to do research on this? hahaha
if you asked me I would follow, for now I'd just pretendYou know that baby over there is so cute. If only my brother looked half like that. HALF. Seriously. If I work in/near Orchard in future, I'd live in/near Orchard. F the stupid ERP fees, I don't really care. I'M LIVIN' IN A POSH HOUSE IN ORCHARD. But first I'd be rich. That brings me back to my great saving plan, which I've been failing at so far. I mean seriously I've spent 60 bucks by wednesday, already. Today I came home with not a single cent in my wallet. I had to walk back to school from far east 'cuz I lent Charlene my ez-link card. :/ Fine it wasn't that tough but it was SCALDING HOT. Like what's with global warming manzxc! But then again lots of people owe me money. :D Pay up pay up! Yeah I sound like I'm ranting to myself but seriously, I'm gonna live in a house either in Bukit Timah or orchard or Thompson. It's gonna be 3 stories high+basement, with a swimming pool and a bowling alley and a mini cinema and a lift and lots of pretty lights and maids in uniforms and I'm gonna sleep in a king sized bed and my room will have a plasma tv and I'll have a walk-in wardrobe and whatnot. Dreaming is always good. {: (I mean like well at least I know I'm dreaming...) Since open house, I realised that there'll be an Amelia every batch. We have Amelia in our batch, Elaine Li (COUGH) who's EXACTLY like Amelia, and this other girl from shps netball who's coming to RGS who's exactly like Amelia too. You know, the similarities they share is like scarring. Anyway I know Amelia won't read this so I'm typing it here: Went with Charlene to far east to buy Amelia's belated batch present. Found this pink shades that probably suits her well. Walked back to school, saw ElaineL at the bus stop and showed it to her. ElaineL's first reaction was: .... SO BIMBO! Hahaha I find that super amusing, don't you! :D Haha they're suched prized possessions to RN man. :/ (: Then came home, bathed, went to sleep at 5pm. Woke up at 8, and here I am. :/ I know that look in your eyes .
Guess who's here (: YUP THAT'S RIGHT! I'm finally posting in like 32489719823021 years. :/ But at least I haven't dumped my blog right. Unlike SOME people who only know how to tell other people how to POST POST POST but don't post themselves. (: Yes, I WONDER WHO. So many things have happened since my. Er. Hiatus? Season ended, exams are finally over, lots of sentimental stuff, class blog posts just exceeded mine by like 3 million, and people left us. It's really, really scary when someone you know just leaves you like that. You don't even have to know that person well. Just that little bit of contact with that person. So when I knew that she's no longer around, my heart did a double flip. I mean, I don't really know her, but it just brought back a whole heap of memories. Memories of people I knew, people I loved. Poof, just gone like that. And the worst part is that I'll never get to have them back, no matter how much I pray or plead. Sometimes reality is so cruel. But every time I tell myself to treasure those around me, to not take anything for granted, I always end up doing so anyway. It's on the back of my mind, but I never really feel obliged to do anything. It's so hard I guess. Okay I shan't go emo :/ Haha so, season ended(okay fine it ended damn long ago) , and we did quite well I suppose! :D 3rd (: All in all, it was a really, really good learning experience. I didn't play, but I had so much to learn! Like every teammate had so much to teach. We might have lost some matches, but our team spirit really improved a lot! Anyway ever since season started, I haven't been doing ANY homework. Seriously. Today was the first time I completed a piece of maths worksheet. I have maths assignments which were due like a month ago at least :/ Okay, I shall go slack elsewhere. :D P.S. I think Jaslin is a scaredeh cat 'cuz she didn't dare to watch Angels and Demons. hohoho :D
Hahaha I'm not gonna post for a while due to the exams. (okay fine that's a very lame excuse for going on hiatus but i don't care i'm freaking lazy) P.S. i just got sick for the 3rd time in 2 freaking dumbass months. p.p.s the number of posts on the class blog just exceeded mine :/
5 words to sum up ORA 2009: Tiring and boring yet fun. I'll update soon, but ora has gotten me addicted to polaroidzx! I REALLY WANT ONE )): Okay I shall update like reallllyyy soon. As for now I shall just attempt to do my pile of homework, which haven't even looked at since friday, not to mention touched.
NORTH, (S)OUTH, EA(S)T, WE(S)T, NORTH S(OUT)H EAST WEST WHO'S THE BEST! MIGHTY RAFFLES BEATS THE REST!
THAT'S THE WAY RAFFLES (: God has truely given us strength, speed, knowledge, and most importantly, faith in each other, today! Today's match had made me feel the worry, anxiety, pride, and joy, all in a span of just an hour! It was a spirit so overwhelming (: Right before the match, on our way to Republic Poly (WHICH IS, BTW, FREAKING HUGEEE AND NICE), Ms Chng sent us a message that simply said The Raffles spirit is unbeaten. It was just five simple words, but it meant so much. It said so much about us; about our team. It was so simple, yet so encouraging in it's own way. I felt the burning Raffles spirit that burnt in our hearts! (haha talk about cliche) I felt how much we all wanted to win, to do not only ourselves, but also Ms Chng and all those who've been supporting us all the way proud. We've moved on so far into the games, and now's not the time to draw back. Strive on Raffles, I know we can do this. DOUBLE CHAMPS '09, We're not that far away (:
I've been spending 20 minutes on this post - writing, editing, deleting, retyping, then repeating the whole cycle again. I talked to a few people about what happened in the past week, and I read blogs where people wrote about God's miracles. I wanted to write about how touched I was, after hearing about all the incidents that happened, and what people around me have said, but now I realised that what I have to write is really simple: I just want to thank anyone who had taught me more about God, And thank God for giving me such wonderful friends, such a wonderful team, such wonderful seniors/juniors, and such a wonderful coach. Lastly, thank God for being around always. <3
"Don't give up 'cos you have friends Don't give up You're not beaten yet Don't give up I know you can make it good"Strive on Raffles. Don't give up just yet, 'cause it's not over; 'cause we don't fall easily. Today's match was a chance for us to realise our weaknesses and what we have to work on, and to learn to work as a strong team in future. "You need to be aware of what others are doing, applaud their efforts, acknowledge their successes, and encourage them in their pursuits. "
We're down, but we're not defeated. We'll work work hard to win back what we lost. We'll correct our errors and persist in our strengths.
We'll fight all the way and win the matches to come, because we can and we will. We'll stand strong, because we're Raffles Netball(ers), The team that doesn't fall.
