charlene is right.adults are always correct. dae are logically right, but emotionally wrong. cuz they never know when they had hurt their children, and speak of them as though they are not worth anything. they never know that they often plunge knives into their children's heart, and never know that their children had to go for surgeries, with their friends as the surgeons to help mend their heart. they never know, because they never bother to. there is no perfect parent in this world, neither is there perfect children. but then again, there isnt any single person whos perfect in this world. books and adults only think that it is children who hurt their parents by being unfilial, but they never thought about how the parents neglect and hurt their children. silence is golden, but sometimes, silence is the enemy. constant silence only makes the child think that they dont care. and often, that's wat the case is-- they dont care. you see children dumping their parents in the old folks home. and well, thats all most of the people remember. they had forgone the fact that parents dump their children too. parents neglect their children, and yet they claim that its the children who take their love for granted. if you ask them why they dont care, and get them to reply truthfully, dae reluctantly say that they are too busy to care. you ask them why dae are busy, dae say cuz dae haf to work. and they often add on this, "i need to work to get money so that my child can go to sch and stuff". but is it really so that their children can go to sch, or more of so that they can haf a title, a place, a name, a seat, fame, and what they want most: money? i really dont know what parents are thinking. but i wont try to anymore. cuz i gave up. |
